Após, mandaram os sons “Pirado” e “Porre!” esta última também com uma pegada bem legal e de refrão fácil de cantar, que é uma forte característica da banda. Então, era a hora do primeiro cover da noite e mandaram “Bonita” do Raimundos, grande banda brasileira, mas infelizmente houve um pequeno problema na bateria e tiveram que cortar o som. No entanto, nada que tirasse a vontade da banda.
Os rapazes mandaram mais sons próprios como a balada “Meu Brotinho”, “Las Vegas” e a grande “Estilo Jece Valadão” que, particularmente, é uma das mais legais da banda, outra canção com refrão grudento! Aconteceram mais alguns pequenos problemas técnicos e a banda fechou os sons próprios com “Elvis do Subúbrio”.
Recado dado com os sons próprios e a banda resolveu mandar um último cover para fechar a sua apresentação, escolhendo sabiamente “Last Caress” dos gloriosos “Misfits”, grande influência dos caras! Finalizada a gig, era a hora de deixar o palco pronto para a apresentação de Richie Ramone e Mickey Leigh!
Set-List:
O baterista, nascido em 1956, foi o responsável pelas baquetas dos Ramones por cinco anos, tendo gravado os seguintes álbuns: “Too Tough To Die”, “Animal Boy” e “Halfway To Sanity”, embora tenha entrado na banda em 1982, na época de lançamento do álbum “Subterranean Jungle”.
Mickey Leigh nasceu em 1954 e foi criado no Queens em Forest Hills, NYC. O irmão mais novo de Joey Ramone começou cedíssimo sua carreira musical, quando já ao s dez anos de idade formou a sua primeira banda, “The Overdose Of Sound”. Mas, só chegou a gravar material próprio com a sua segunda banda já aos doze anos de idade, a Purple Majesty (tendo seu irmão como produtor, e chegou a fazer shows em alguns clubes do Greenwich Village em Manhattan.
Finalmente é chegada a hora de mais um ex-Ramone pisar, novamente, em um palco brasileiro. Richie (que já havia estado no Brasil em 1987 na primeira vez que o Ramones veio à América do Sul) chegou acompanhado de Mickey Leigh, seu parceiro em várias gigs com canções de Ramones, projeto este que chamam de “Joey Ramone Friends”, o mesmo que estávamos prestes a presenciar. A dupla teve, como banda de apoio, os ramoníacos Passa-Mal (da banda Lomba Raivosa!) e Fernando Hound (da banda Fox Hound). Em algumas canções, Ítalo Hound (membro das duas bandas citadas acima), assumiu as baquetas e foi com esta formação que o show começou!
Acabada a performance, entra no palco Richie Ramone, com os braços para cima e com cara de visível animação, o ex-batera dos punks nova-iorquinos assume os vocais em “You’re Gonna Kill That Girl” demonstrando não ter perdido o pique após anos e anos fora da banda.
A próxima canção a ser executada foi “(You) Can’t Say Anything Nice”, surpresa no set por se tratar de um b-side dos Ramones, ou seja, som para quem é fã da banda mesmo. Após a canção, Richie é bastante assediado no palco e ouve alguém na platéia pedir para ele tocar bateria. O mesmo, cara de ironia responde, “Mas, eu nem toco mais bateria!” E com esta deixa, a banda emenda um dos grandes sons do Ramones e de autoria de Richie, “Somebody Put Something in My Drink” que contou com participação de Wivi da banda RAMONA, grupo brasileiro que presta tributo ao quarteto do Queens.
Finalizada a canção, eis que Richie anuncia que finalmente tomaria controle das baquetas no show da noite, deixando o posto de vocalista para Mickey Leigh! E eis que o irmão de Joey Ramone entra no palco da Clash Club fazendo vir à memória de todos o grande vocalista que nos deixou em 2001.
A semelhança entre Mickey e Joey é tanta que, em alguns momentos, não somente pela voz, mas também pela sua fisionomia, dá-se a impressão de que Joey está no palco e com esta imagem ele, sozinho, começa a tocar a canção “Something To Believe In”, do álbum “Animal Boy”, contando com a banda entrando no meio do som, com tudo!
Outra surpresa do set-list foi “I Want You Around”, canção que foi cantada pela grande maioria na casa, com destaque para o refrão bem marcado! “I Wanna Have Something to Do” seguiu, sendo sempre uma boa canção nos sets de shows do Ramones e a galera entoava junta, “Hey! Now! Hey Now!” dando um toque bem especial ao show.
Demonstrando empolçação e até incredulidade em estar no mesmo palco de um ex-Ramone, Passa Mal e Fernando Hound seguravam bem as canções que eram tocadas nas versões que foram gravadas originalmente. Em alguns momentos tinha-se a impressão de que a banda ia acelerar um pouco, talvez pela pegada mais rápida da banda ao vivo, mas foi interessante ver estas canções todas sendo tocadas da maneira “original” e os gringos pareciam bem contentes com o resultado!
A trinca “Bonzo Goes To Bitburgh”, “Rock & Roll High School” e “Rockaway Beach” seguiu com o show dando um belo toque de energia na apresentação, com destaque para “Bonzo…” que, com Richie na bateria, não poderia faltar no set! Quem é fã da banda mesmo sabe do que estou falando.
Ao final de “Rockaway Beach”, Mickey empunha a guitarra novamente e começa as harmonias e acordes da música que, para mim, foi a maior surpresa do set. “Danny Says”, uma das canções mais belas escritas com participação de Joey era a “bola da vez” e foi um momento muito legal do show, mais uma vez com a grande maioria da platéia cantando junto com a banda e como se não fosse o bastante, “Life’s a Gas”, talvez a canção que mais relembre Joey, foi a próxima, emocionando não somente às pessoas que foram ver ao show, mas principalmente a banda no palco, era só olhar no rosto de cada um deles ali em cima enquanto tocavam a canção em sinal de respeito a Joey.
Agitando um pouco mais a apresentação, antes do BIS, mandaram a famosa “Sheena Is a Punk Rocker”, com Mickey perguntando, “Vocês sabe quem é uma punk rocker?” Canção sempre eficaz, não há o que dizer aqui.
Homenagem justa com um show curto e certeiro, esta foi a proposta da dupla e atingiram o seu objetivo. Após esta apresentação, Richie atendeu a alguns fãs distribuindo autógrafos e fotografias, parecendo bem simpático, apesar do semblante de cansaço.
